Students should practice daily and record the number of minutes in each block provided. Your signature is required each week stating that on the honor code, you practiced the number of minutes listed.
Turn in this practice record on the first day of each week.
For each week that you turn in your practice record on time, signed on this form, and with more than 100 minutes of practice, you will receive a grade of 100. If you practice fewer than 100 minutes, your grade is the number of minutes practiced that week. The maximum grade that may be obtained by turning this record in on the second class meeting day of the week is 80, and the third day 60, the fourth is 40. No practice will be accepted after the last day of the week on which it was due. Practice must be submitted on the appropriate form and be spread out over more than two days for full credit. If you lose this form, obtain another one from the teacher.
If you are absent on the first day of the week, turn in your practice record the first day you return to orchestra (you must remember- the teacher will not ask you for it.) Make a note on it that you were absent.
