-Notes on College Application Procedures-
Step I Visit a Probe Fair. Write for admission materials. Many college applications are available in the Counselor’s Office and online.
Step II Complete application ( application should be neat, accurate, and legible - type or use black ink). Make sure to proofread the application. It is extremely important to complete each blank accurately, even if you must say “none” or “not applicable.”
Step III If recommendations are required, please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for the person writing the recommendation. Provide a resume.
Step IV If a photograph is required, a “cutesy” snap-shot is absolutely unacceptable. Write any essays, and have it proofread.
Step V If you are mailing your application, include a check for the application fee with social security number and student’s name on the check. If you are submitting the application online, print 2 copies (one for your records and one to be sent with your transcript.
